This issue has Roll running around half naked being chased by something, or it’s all just some kind of simulation in her brain or I don’t really know. They never really specify. We’ll be seeing more of Proto Man’s sex dungeon in the next issue.
Here’s a project I’ve been wanting to do for awhile now. First some background: There is a Spanish gaming magazine by the name of Hobby Consolas. Back in 1997 or so they released a book unhelpfully named “Mangas & Videogames”. It contains hyper-weird Spanish game-related comics, with some of the most bizarre crossovers I’ve ever seen. I’ve been waiting around for a Spanish translator to join our fold, and now one has, so we’ve done a chapter, yay. Here’s today’s release, a chapter in which NiGHTS, Kirby, Link, and Heihachi play a game of D&D (or some other fantasy tabletop roleplaying game):

If you’ve been wondering about that frame of Bub we’ve been using in the blog banner, this is where it’s from. These pages are (all but the last one) 2543×3503, so as a special service I’ve also made a half resolution version in case anyone would prefer that.
If anyone out there owns this book, please get in touch with us. We’d like to translate it all, but portions of it I can not find scans of, and other parts I can only find poor quality / lower resolution versions of. I’d like to someday be able to release a huge high quality full book version. Anyway, enjoy this chapter, hopefully more will be coming soon.
Slowly working on Super Turtles Vol. 1 cleanup, and we found a great face on a panel that we felt the need to do things with. So PPA made a vector and then I went and made “fancy” sunburst backgrounds for them. So here, have some new wallpapers.

So here it is, the collected volume version of Mutant Turtles Gaiden. This one is pretty big, so I had to split it into two files for mediafire. Download both and unrar one and you’ll get the CBR. There’s also a Mega mirror for a one-shot download.
In this volume version, you’ll find some typo fixes, minor text changes, a nice forward by the translator, an assortment of colorized pages, and various other little bonus materials. The pages have been re-saved from the original edits as PNG this time, so the image quality will be better. Also included is an advertisement for our next TMNT project. Enjoy the release.

And here it is, chapter 4: You know you want it.
This chapter has the gang going off to see Japan, rendered in an incredibly stereotypical if not completely racist way, despite being drawn by a Japanese artist. I think it’s all just a setup for a joke involving The Shredder, though. With this we’ve finished the re-dos of Mutant Turtles Gaiden and this would normally mark the project as complete, however I am going to do one more release for it. Coming soon will be a nice volume release of the manga, including special bonus features and probably slightly improved image quality.
Chapter 3 has arrived.
In this chapter, Shredder kidnaps April (what a shocker!) and enacts his master plan, while his mask reminds me of Brak. Chapter 4 and a nice volume release should probably come out by this time next week.

In this issue, Bass doesn’t want Roll to molest his brain, some very confusing battles going on that MAY OR MAY NOT BE REAL, and the introduction of a top secret new character (hint: he’s dual wielding lightsabers), as well as the human rebel characters no one gives a shit about. Also, great use of sound effects.
Awhile ago I noticed the guy over on TMNT Entity was translating TMNT manga. I was glad to see this being done, but I thought it could be done in a somewhat more visually appealing manner. So I offered to take the raw scans and clean em up nice and put in his translation at full resolution. And thus a joint project was born. Eventually, we’d like to do all of the Japanese-original TMNT manga books, but for right now we are concentrating on “Mutant Turtles Gaiden”. And what do you know, here’s the first part of it released:
Chapter 1 is done, chapter 2 is incredibly close to done, and chapter 3 is about halfway done or so. So expect this manga done shortly. After that, I’ll probably start working on other TMNT manga when not working on Mega Man or Club Nintendo. And yeah I know TMNT isn’t exactly “game related”, but c’mon now, TMNT has had a lot of kickass videogames, and a lot of not so good ones that are at least fun to talk about, so I say good enough.

In this issue, we meet the Neo Mavericks. Some of them have full names, some of them only have one letter names. Laziness or what? Who knows? Roll has another flashback throwing her into berserker rage, Ecks makes a reference to a German F1 racer, and Rock mourns the loss of some tokusatsu VHS tapes. Oddly, Roll keeps her clothes on for a second issue in a row, although she’s suddenly changed clothes since the last issue anyway and lost her pants in the process.
